As an extra side business my husband and I are decorating cakes now. Here are some we have done. The cowboy cake was Bryson's 1st birthday and the John Deere was Hunter's 4th birthday. I will post the other 3 when I get my new camera stuff loaded.

I made the cover of this scrapbook album for a child who needed it for his Scramble Calf for Houston. It was fun to make and something different. This is the front and back covers. We made it out of feed sacks.

Well with Christmas behind us and thinking about the new year I am ready to start on new projects. I am going to show you some that I have worked on for Christmas presents or different things. My goal for this year is to start now on Christmas presents for next year. The first two are called magnetic memo boards. They are made out of cookie sheets. They are easy and fun to make.

It has been a long time since I updated the blog. Where do I begin? As you know in September we had a hurricane. October we were consumed by our county fair. November started the holiday season. December was so crazy it even snowed in TEXAS yes that if very strange. Then the new year was here. Now that we are up to date. I will share with some of the things I have created lately.

At our last scrapbooking day I made these creations for my boys. They were so excited!!! The Thomas one has the sticker just standing up by it until I put the pictures on and attach it.

Club Layouts

At our last club you could do 2 layouts. Baseball, FFA or 4-H were the choices. Here are one of each except for the 4-H. The ladies liked them and helped out on some of their scrapbooks.

It has been a really long time since I have updated. Sorry!! It has been go, go, go around here over the summer. At the end of July we went to Corpus Christi with Tony for Ag Teachers Conference and after their sessions we got to play. Hunter thought he could swim in the beach water like the swimming pool. Unfortunely he swallowed a mouth full of salt water. Yucky!! He then decided we should go swim in the pool instead. We had a great time but we were very glad to be home. That was our first vacation with 2 kids.

When we returned home I received a phone call from Tammy Samuelson at the bank to say that I had won a prize. When we got there I had guessed an amount for a jar full of goodies and I was the closest. I won 4 tickets to Splashtown, 4 meal tickets @ $10 each, gas money, a beach bag filled with 2 beach towels, water and snacks. So on Monday, August 11th we went to Splashtown and had a blast. Hunter wanted to ride the slides he could by his self. Over and Over again that is all we heard. Bryson loves the water so he was a happy camper for the whole trip. We have had fun as a family this summer.

I have worked on a couple of projects lately. One was a swap we did with our unit in CTMH, one is a layout for a friend that just had her baby (I made other and have posted earlier), some where from the club and parties I have done.

Saturday, July 19th will be our next Scrappin Day at Drew's Landing Baptist Church off of FM 1127. It will be from 9am to 4pm. If you need direction and plan to attend please email me at tlgood03@yahoo.com . I am sure everyone has plenty to scrapbook from summer vacation or can make pages for up coming trips. Even if you are not a scrapbooker I encourage you to come out and work on your projects. We have people that make just cards. Bring a friend, your lunch and drinks. Hope to see you there!!

1st Club meeting....

We had our first club meeting on Monday, June 16th. It was fun and we had a great turn out. Sorry for those who are in the club and could not be here. I do have your pages though. Our next meeting will be Monday, June 7th from 5pm-8pm. If you are not in the club but want to place an order it will go towards the hostess for that month. I will still send out the specials for the month along with the Stamp of the Month. Hopefully after school starts we will have another club start up and some workshops. I have not blogged in a while I see we have a lot of catching up to do. Let's see? Where to start??? Father's Day- We got up went to church came home and started painting the storage building that will be partly my stamping room. We spent all day doing that!! Tony finished up on Monday evening. He moved everything back in the building and yesterday I moved my stuff out there. I am so excited!!! Even Hunter has a desk out there. We still have to run electricity from the building to the pole so hopefully that will happen soon.

My mother asked me to make a wedding gift for a friend of hers like the one I made previously. I had different colors to work with this time. I took the picture without the frame because of the glare on it.

We had a wonderful weekend. We went to Canton on Saturday even though it was hhhhottttt! Of course, I found some really good scrapbooking supplies to add to my collection. I found 2 new items I want to add to my collection. One is a mat that has magnets to keep your things in place and the other is called a scor-pal. They were both really neat items. I will add them to my wish list for birthday or Christmas. Yesterday we got up and went to church as a family. Came home rested and then the boys played in their swimming pool yesterday evening. It was nice to just have a relaxing weekend.

Wedding Gift

This weekend 2 of my friends and myself had a great time scrapbooking and making other items together. We did this from around 10am-4pm and we shared many ideas . I made a shadow box scrapbooking picture frame for a young lady I use to babysit. She is getting married this summer and this is her colors. I wanted to make it a little casual so it would not look out of place in their house. It was something new for me and I really enjoyed making it.

I got news yesterday that I now have a downline. Yeah!!!! I am excited for her and me both. She lives in Woodville and I have not had a chance to visit with her yet. I will be contacting her this evening and I hope everything goes well. I am asking everyone to pray for me to be a great teacher/guider for her. Kimberly has been wonderful to me and I hope I can pass the things I have been taught on to her.

Here is the Mother's Day gift I made for my Granny. She always has pictures and needs a place to put it. I bought a photo cube at Wal-Mart and took it apart. I placed CTMH paper all around it and personalized it for her.

I have several things I am working on. Be patient and I will post as soon as I get them completed. I will post the things for Mother's Day after Sunday. My mom can look on my blog and do not want to take the fun out of it for her.

I have many ideas for upcoming workshops and clubs. The latest is that Chelsea Sparks contacted me about putting together a club. The club would consist of 10 people who would meet once a month for 11 month (we would skip December, too crazy). Each person would get to be a hostess with the 11th month being mystery hostess. This means everyone's name would go back into the drawing and the person that is drawn that night would get the hostess benefits. We would make a project each month at the club meetings. Please email me at tlgood03@yahoo.com if you are interested in signing up. I already have 3 for sure people so we need 7 more. If I need to start another club that would not be a problem. The days we are looking at are Monday, Thursday and 1 or 2 Fridays.

I will be having some workshops coming up over the summer and through the year. I will be posting them on here later with pictures of projects.

I am so excited about all the new stuff our group has going on.
